Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Paddlesport
Course Description
The Level 1 qualification is the entry point for most new paddlesport coaches. The qualification is not discipline specific and so is it suitable for coaches who work with paddlers from any of the competitive and non-competitive paddlesport disciplines.
The qualification develops the foundation coaching skills that will underpin your coaching practice in the future. The Level 1 Coach can plan, deliver and review short coaching sessions, normally with the support of a more qualified coach. The Level 1 Award is available as either a boat or bank-based option.
The Level 1 Coach qualification is a four day course that combines training and assessment. The course may be four consecutive days, or split over two weekends, so please check dates carefully when booking. Each day runs 9am – 5pm.
